The Ultimate BC Hiking Guide: 50+ Hikes + Backbacking Locations
I Just Dropped My First Ever BC Hiking Guide!
Over the past few years, I’ve hiked through alpine meadows, swam in glacier-fed lakes, cried on summits, and camped under stars across British Columbia. I’ve also spent hours answering DMs like “Where was this photo taken?”, “Do I need a permit for this campsite?” or “How do I get to that lookout?”
So I finally put it all in one place.
✨ I just launched my first-ever Rexby guide : a curated list of 50+ of my favourite hikes, lakes, campsites, cabins, and backcountry gems across BC.
It’s organized, visual, scrollable, and full of the details I wish I had when I first started exploring. Whether you're planning your first overnight or mapping out a full-on road trip, I built this for you.
What’s Inside the Guide
You’ll find:
📍 50+ hiking and adventure destinations across BC
🏞️ Trail stats (distance, elevation, type)
🛶 Lakes, summits, cabins, campsites & hot springs
🗺️ Permit info + gear tips
📸 Best photo spots at each location
🔗 AllTrails links included for every hike
These aren’t just the trending spots — they’re places I’ve actually been, loved, and want to share with you. Some are well-known, others are the kind of hidden gems you only hear about if a local spills the beans.
Why I Made It
Honestly? I wanted to create a resource that actually helps. Not another vague listicle or over-filtered feed, but something useful. Something personal. Something that brings the magic of BC’s outdoors to your screen and helps you step out into it.
I’ve also made a point to include access notes (like if you need a high-clearance car), avoid places where overtourism is a concern, and highlight the Leave No Trace principles that matter so much to me.
Who It’s For
New hikers looking for clear, trustworthy beta
Solo adventurers craving inspiration
Road trippers with a few days to explore
Locals who want to find somewhere off the beaten path
Photographers and creators who want dreamy views and trail stats in one place
Basically — if you’ve ever scrolled my feed and thought, “I wish I could go there” — now you can.
